I'mm Baaaack!

Whoa sorry kids, it's been a while! I've been in the middle of a life changing tornado and finally feeling slightly settled to get back to the important stuff, like writing about horror! I've recently done a little bit of pin-up for Toy Robot Photography. I must admit it was a little more classic and cheesecakey than I usually create, but it was my first time back to creating in over a year! Lot's of rad things we need to catch up this year so we'll take everything that comes our way into stride. I'll leave you these pics we created for now as I collect my thoughts for a kick ass feature I want to discuss for my following post!

till next time creepsters! ( that isn't a creeper but someone who enjoys horror..) -Xoxo- Kat

Tribute to the Women of Horror Hairstyles

Good evening and welcome to the hairstyles of the bewitch and infamous, my name is Kat and I'll be your horror-guide! Just kidding, but this week I do want to pay tribute to all of our favorite female hostesses of horror.

These ladies dazzled us through the decades and left a memorizing ambiance in our psyche of how to make chaos seem so eloquent.

This week I'll be creating my own tongue in cheek subtle horror look with my hair the you ladies at home can too create to keep your own everyday chaos looking elegant!

Elvira, Morticia, and Vampira always been some of my faves and have inspired a vampy looking ombre' that I'm going to create!

To create this look you'll need three colors.
Brown dyes- Kolston made by Wella #'s 4/45 and 5/75
these are both to be mixed evenly half portions each.
For the bottom red I used L'oreal Healthy Look in Love Apple and just follow the manufacturer's instructions!
Try this not so summer look for yourself and unleash your inner glamorous horror selves!

Until next time-Xoxo Kat

Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"

Hello Ladies and Gents., It's been far too long since I've written and please excuse me of being an ass as I haven't been trying to neglect this page! This week I tried things a little differently to jump kick start myself in the ass to make this entry by making a short YouTube segment to go along with it! Hostessing is one of those things I've always done best aside from jumping out and scaring people randomly...so if your not much of a reader this video meant is for you!

I'm starting a vintage horror film series and thought which better film to kick it off than a classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller from 1963. There are tons of great vintage films to add to this series and will be glad to take your requests, So until next time... I bid you a hauntingly adieu!

Xoxo- Kat
